♨️ تفاوت Can و Be able to

🔍 به همراه افعال حسی و دریافتی (see, hear,...) و افعالی که به فعالیت های ذهنی اشاره دارند( understand, decide, remembee) از be able to استفاده نمی کنیم.

🔸We couldn't stop laughing.
I think I can smell something burning.

✍ در مورد عبارت Can't stop doing something هم شرایط به همین منوال است.

🔹The book was so fascinating that I couldn't stop reading it.
